The Meghalaya Natural & Organic Farming Society for Livelihood & Innovation in Agriculture is the State’s apex body driving organic transformation and climate-resilient agriculture.
On 9th July 2025, a significant milestone was achieved in advancing organic farming in Meghalaya with the formal signing of the Mandator ICS Agreement between Mr. John Lyngdoh, CEO, Tomonpo Anglong Organic Producer Company Ltd., and Mr. R. Durairaj, CEO, Mother India Farms. The ceremony was held at the Main Secretariat, Shillong.
The agreement aims to support the development and maintenance of Internal Control Systems (ICS), streamline certification processes, and create sustainable market linkages for certified organic produce—particularly Meghalaya’s high-quality pineapples.
